  32. Yarn needle. Striped Purse: One 1"-diameter button; sewing needle and thread.

  34. GAUGE: 14 sts = 4"; 32 rows = 4" in Garter st (K every row). CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge given.

  38. FRONT: With CA cast on 24 sts. Marking first row as the right side, work in Garter st (K every row) until 6┬╛" from beg. Bind off.
